Annual Meeting Set for June—Look for Ballots in May

NCSC will hold its 43rd Annual Membership Meeting June 17 in Indianapolis in conjunction with CFC Forum 2024. Telecom voting members will elect directors in three Class T districts. NCSC staff mailed candidate solicitation letters to the affected districts in early February, and nominations were due March 15.

A Nominating Committee has approved the following slate of candidates for the 2024 election:

  • District 1: Jason Miller, general manager, Delhi Telephone Company (NY).
  • District 3: John Klatt, president and CEO, Lakeland Communications (WI).
  • District 5: Dustin Hilliary, co-CEO, Medicine Park Telephone Company (OK) and Toney Prather, president and owner, Totelcom Communications (TX).

All voting members will be mailed a packet of information about the meeting by early May. It will include candidate profiles and mail-in ballots. Completed ballots must be received at NCSC headquarters by June 10 to be counted.

The meeting will include elections and an address from NCSC Board President Kathy Cooper-Winters, the board chair of Northwestern Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Pennsylvania.

Fox News Chief Political Anchor Bret Baier will take the Forum stage later that day as the NCSC Annual Meeting speaker. He will reveal his take on what’s happening in and outside of Washington and share his family’s personal journey of faith and courage.
