CFC hosted a trio of Executive Leadership Series programs aimed at arming cooperative executives with the needed skills and expertise to lead their cooperative more effectively. Learn about our recent programs in the recap below:
Held May 7–9 at CFC headquarters, this specialized training program was designed for CFOs in their first 1–3 years of leadership. Focused on building critical financial, leadership, management, communications and technical skills, the training offered a unique opportunity for cooperative finance leaders to strengthen their strategic impact and build a network of peers.
From July 23–25, CFC hosted a dynamic cohort of cooperative CEOs at its headquarters for the CEO Development Program. Tailored for CEOs with three or fewer years in the role, the program provided actionable insights on building high-performance cultures, managing risk and enhancing board relationships. With expert collaboration from GreatCo-Ops, the event fostered meaningful peer connections and equipped leaders with the mindset and tools to lead with confidence and clarity.
On August 4–6, CFC partnered with NRTC and Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange to host the Harvard Certificate Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This immersive training brought together tenured cooperative CEOs—along with a few emerging leaders—for a deep dive into strategy, innovation and leadership. Delivered by Harvard faculty and thought leaders, the program emphasized collaborative learning and empowered participants to drive meaningful change across the cooperative network.
