For nearly 30 years, the CFC Compass 10‑year budget forecasting model has supported members in evaluating a wide range of financial strategies. This month, CFC released CompassPro, an enhanced version designed to improve user experience with streamlined data entry, easy navigation and additional capabilities.
New in CFC CompassPro:
- QuickStart: Guided, step‑by‑step data entry process to build your forecast.
- Scenario Analysis Dashboard: Compare results of multiple CompassPro models in one Power BI view.
- Key Results Dashboard: Board‑ready CompassPro reports in Power BI.
- Expanded data import: Import data from Compass 4.6, CFC Form 7s or CFC BudgetPro.
- Built‑in equity management tool.
- Additional member‑driven enhancements.
Guided by member feedback, the CFC Financial Tools & Analysis team developed CompassPro to support how members use the tool today, with easier scenario comparison, quicker forecasting startup and enhanced equity planning.
“Our goal is to provide intuitive, easy-to-use and powerful tools that support member financial planning and strategic decision-making,” CFC Vice President of Financial Tools & Analysis Aaron Stallings said. “CFC CompassPro delivers on this goal by enhancing the member experience with QuickStart, scenario analysis, key results reporting and more.”
Members can download the new CompassPro model from the Financial Models folder in the Document Center on the CFC Member Website. The new CFC CompassPro user guide and Key Results and Scenario Analysis Dashboards are also available on the Member Website’s CFC CompassPro page.
As part of CFC’s quarterly Financial Tools & Analysis webinar series, a session on May 27 will provide members an overview of CompassPro’s new features. Additional details will be shared soon.
