CFC recently hosted two insightful webinars focused on the 2024 Key Ratio Trend Analysis (KRTA) results—an essential benchmarking tool for electric cooperatives. Led by CFC’s Carolina Park and Aaron Stallings, both sessions unpacked the latest KRTA data and explored its implications for cooperative management and governance.

KRTA Results for Management

This session provided a comprehensive overview of the 2024 KRTA results, emphasizing how a cooperative’s management and board can use the five-year benchmarking data to guide financial and operational decisions. Park and Stallings highlighted key national trends and demonstrated how KRTA insights can support strategic planning, risk assessment and performance improvement.

The webinar provided a detailed look at the 2024 KRTA metrics and what they reveal about the financial health of cooperatives nationwide. This session also gave practical applications of KRTA data for day-to-day and long-term management and strategic insights to help managers align operations with evolving industry benchmarks.

KRTA Results for Directors

Tailored for cooperative directors, this session focused on how board members can interpret and apply KRTA data to fulfill their oversight responsibilities. Park and Stallings emphasized the importance of understanding financial trends and using KRTA as a tool for informed governance.

This webinar provided a director-focused interpretation of the 2024 KRTA results, with guidance for directors on applying KRTA data to support decision-making, strategic and operational perspectives, evaluate cooperative performance and plan for the future.
